Socal VetLabs provides high-quality research animal models for use in biomedical research programs. Our offerings include genetically standard models, disease-specific models, and surgically altered animals. All services are intended exclusively for qualified research institutions, licensed researchers, and organizations engaged in legitimate biomedical research activities.
By using our services, you represent and warrant that:
You are at least 18 years of age.
You are acting on behalf of a licensed research institution, accredited organization, or qualified research entity.
You hold all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals required by applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the use of research animals.
Your use of our animal models will comply with all applicable regulations, including those set forth by the USDA, NIH, IACUC, and any other relevant regulatory bodies.
You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization.
You agree to use our services only for lawful, ethical, and legitimate biomedical research purposes. You agree not to:
Use our animal models for any purpose prohibited by applicable law or regulation.
Resell, transfer, or distribute animal models obtained from us without prior written consent.
Misrepresent your credentials, institutional affiliation, or research purpose.
Use our website or services in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our operations.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems or networks.
All orders for research animal models are subject to availability and acceptance by SoCal VetLabs. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. Pricing is provided upon request and is subject to change without notice. Payment terms will be specified in individual service agreements or invoices. All sales are final unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of our research animal models complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies, including but not limited to:
The Animal Welfare Act (AWA) and associated USDA regulations.
National Institutes of Health (NIH) guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals.
Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) protocols and approvals.
All applicable state and local regulations governing research animal use.
SoCal VetLabs is not responsible for your compliance with these requirements and makes no representations regarding the suitability of our models for any specific regulatory purpose.
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and service descriptions, is the property of SoCal VetLabs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
Any proprietary information, research protocols, pricing, or technical data shared between SoCal VetLabs and clients in connection with our services shall be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent, except as required by law.
Our services and animal models are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. SoCal VetLabs does not warrant that our models will meet your specific research requirements or produce any particular experimental outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoCal VetLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoCal VetLabs, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of our services or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that is harmful to Socal VetLabs, other clients, or any applicable law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
